The most important Orioles channels
Most Baltimore Orioles & Washington Nationals regular season games are carried by the same RSN, called the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, or “MASN” for short. According to the MASN website, the channel serves a seven-state area, which gives it one of the largest reaches of any regional sports network. MASN is available in all of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. MASN also serves major portions of North Carolina and Pennsylvania and parts of West Virginia.
For Baltimore games that are on national TV, baseball fans will also want access to Apple TV+, Peacock, ESPN, FOX, FS1, and TBS.

The best live TV streaming providers for local Orioles games
For day in, day out Orioles action all summer long, DirecTV Stream is the best choice since it is the only live TV streaming provider that carries MASN, the regional sports network owned by the Orioles and Nationals.
DirecTV Stream – best choice
Currently, the only way to watch MASN is with a DirecTV Stream “Choice” subscription.
If you don’t live in the MASN viewing territory
During the regular season, the MLB TV roster is broadcast by region for most games. Each MLB team has a TV contract with a regional sports network (RSN) that carries most of the games locally for in-market fans. The playoffs and World Series, as well as featured weekly matchups, are available on national TV. For out-of-market fans, MLB.TV will be the best option for following along with the Orioles season.
MLB.TV
MLB.TV is the out-of-market premium product for baseball fans. If you are outside of the MASN territory, you can watch Orioles games all season on MLB.TV.
How to watch the Orioles on national TV
When the Orioles appear on national TV, Baltimore fans have more viewing options because the games are available to the entire country. Be aware that some national games are streaming exclusives that only air on Apple TV+, Peacock, or YouTube.
fuboTV
fuboTV does not carry MASN, but when the Orioles are on FOX, FS1, or ESPN, fuboTV is a good choice. For an extra monthly fee, fuboTV sports packages carry MLB Network.
Sling Orange & Blue + Sports Extra
Note: Sling TV does not offer FOX in the Baltimore market, so to watch MLB on FOX, including the World Series, an air antenna would be required.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV does not carry MASN, but does offer every other national channel you need to watch the Orioles, including MLB Network in the base package. Adding MLB.TV to a YouTube TV account for watching the Orioles out-of-market is easy.
YouTube TV also carries the streaming exclusive, MLB game of the Week on YouTube.
Watching the Orioles FAQ
The Orioles, as a team that owns their own regional sports network, won’t be affected by the Diamond Sports bankruptcy as much as some other teams. Orioles games will continue to air on MASN subject to regional viewing restrictions.
Yes, believe it or not, climate change is having an impact on Orioles baseball games. The Baltimore media has reported on how the changing climate in Maryland has made it more difficult to maintain the grounds at Camden Yards. Orioles fans may see more games canceled due to heavy rains in the seasons to come.
