In this post, we will cover the best ways to watch the Dolphins live without cable on the device of your choice, including Roku, for both for local “in-market” and out of town fans who don’t live within the Miami TV market.

Although several live TV streaming services carry Dolphins games, our top pick for watching the Dolphins for the 2023 season is DIRECTV STREAM. With DIRECTV STREAM, Dolphins fans can watch WFOR-TV CBS 4 Miami, as well as FOX, NBC, ESPN, and with an upgrade to the “Choice” package, Bally Sports Florida and Sun for Miami Heat, Marlins, and Panthers regular season games.

If you live in South Florida

DIRECTV STREAM – Dolphins, Canes, Heat, Marlins, and Panthers

If you live in South Florida, you can watch every Dolphins game on DIRECTV STREAM in the base package. In addition to streaming Dolphins games in-market, the Miami TV market will often get the Bucs on FOX.

Upgrade to DIRECTV STREAM “Choice” to watch the Heat, Marlins, and Panthers on Bally Sports Sun, and the Canes on ACC Network.

Fubo – Dolphins, Canes, Heat, Marlins, and Panthers

I have used Fubo for years, and recommend it here for Dolphins fans because of the ease of setup, and extensive channel selection.

Fubo provides Dolphins fans excellent in-market coverage. The platform carries CBS, FOX, ESPN, and NBC, as well as NFL Network and NFL Red Zone. The service is easy and fast to setup if you are trying to secure a viewing option right before kickoff.

Fubo offers the channels South Florida sports fans need to watch:

YouTube TV – full local Dolphins coverage, plus Canes

Yes, YouTube TV is a great option for local Dolphins fans as the platform carries CBS, FOX, ESPN, and NBC, which will offer full coverage for the regular season, and hopefully, the playoffs as well. YouTube gives full coverage of Miami Hurricanes football, including ACC Network games.

YouTube TV is the most innovative live TV streaming provider boasting a 4K package, as well as Stats View, Key Plays, and a fantasy football integration. YouTube TV also boasts unlimited DVR storage through its library feature, and offers the longest free trial of any streaming service for watching Dolphins games for free.

Although YouTube TV lacks the regional sports networks Florida sports fans need to stream most Heat, Miami Marlins baseball, and Florida Panthers games, the marquee events, like the NBA Playoffs, Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, and World Series are covered.

As I mention below, YouTube TV is the new home of NFL Sunday Ticket for 2023.

Hulu + Live TV – Dolphins, Canes, UFC

Hulu + live TV is another great option for Dolphins fans in South Florida and provides full coverage of the Fins season from the 305.

The platform covers all your bases, with CBS, ESPN, FOX, and NBC, as well as ACC Network for Canes football and UM basketball.

The reason I subscribe to Hulu + Live TV is because of the ESPN+ bundle, which allows me to watch UFC events directly on the Hulu app. This is much easier than toggling over to the ESPN app, which can be buggy. With some of MMA’s biggest stars, Like Jorge “Gamebread” Masvidal and Colby Covington, training and living in South Florida, many in Miami will want to watch the Dolphins with Hulu so they can easily follow the UFC as well.

Paramount+ – Dolphins, SEC football, Super Bowl LVIII

If you live in South Florida, Paramount+ is a great option for watching the Dolphins on WFOR-TV CBS 4 Miami at a competitive rate. Although there will be gaps in coverage when the Dolphins play on FOX, ESPN, and NBC, Paramount+ will have TV rights to the Super Bowl, NFL Playoffs, and both Big Ten and SEC Football this season.

NFL+ – full local Dolphins coverage on mobile

I am surprised more people don’t talk about NFL+. The platform offers full local coverage for NFL fans, including Dolphins fans, with the only catch being the app can only be viewed on mobile or tablets.

Dolphins player to watch – #72

When I watch Dolphins games this season, I will have my eye on the LT position, and #72, Terron Armstead. Because the Dolphins star QB, Tua Tagovailoa is a lefty, the LT position isn’t as important in Miami as for many other teams because its the RT that protects the QB blind spot. Nevertheless, for the Dolphins to have success, Armstead will need to stay healthy, something he had a hard time doing last season.

For Dolphins fans outside of Miami (out-of-market)

If, like my friend Carlos who lives in Harlem, you are a diehard Dolphins fan who doesn’t live in the Miami TV market, you can watch the Dolphins regular season out-of-market with NFL Sunday Ticket.

New for 2023, YouTube TV has the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket. If you buy Sunday Ticket with a YouTube TV subscription, the cost for the season is $349. Without a YouTube TV subscription, Sunday Ticket costs $449.
