The most important channels for Giants fans in the NY area will be WCBS-TV CBS 2 NY (usually the home channel of the Jets) and WNYW-TV FOX 5 NY. On occasion, NY Giants games will also air nationally on ESPN, NBC, and Amazon Prime.

If you live in the NY area
Fubo – full local Giants coverage, Knicks, and college sports
Yes, local Giants fans can watch in-market NY Giants games on Fubo from the preseason all the way through Super Bowl LVIII.
fuboTV carries the requisite channels for watching regional and national Giants games, and if you are a local fan, you can stream Thursday Night Football on a local affiliate rather than toggling over to Amazon Prime. Fubo also carries MSG Network which gives NY sports fans access to Rangers (NHL) and Knicks (NBA) games.
Unfortunately, Fubo lacks YES Network, which means Yankee fans can’t stream the Bronx Bombers on Fubo.
For college football fans, Fubo does carry the full lineup of channels needed to stream Penn State and Rutgers, but the lack of YES Network means there will be gaps in Syracuse coverage when the Orange play in an ACC on RSN game.

Sling TV – watch the Giants on ABC, FOX, and NBC in NY area
Sling TV only affords partial coverage of the Giant’s 2023 season and lacks CBS, which means no Super Bowl LVIII.
However, you can watch the NY Giants on Sling TV in-market when the team appears on ABC, FOX, ESPN, or NBC (although an upgrade to Sling Orange is required to get access to ESPN).
Sling TV Blue alone will not get you access to ESPN, so Monday Night Football is out, but in the NY market, fans get the local FOX and NBC affiliate with a Sling TV Blue membership. CBS can be added with a special air antenna.
Even though Sling Blue doesn’t offer total NFL coverage, we recommend it here because, with the cost of streaming services rising, some fans will want a more budget friendly option.
DIRECTV STREAM – full local Giants coverage, plus Yankees, Knicks, and college sports
In addition to carrying the channels you need to watch the Giants on Sundays, DIRECTV STREAM is the only live TV streaming service that carries the YES Network, which is the home of Yankees baseball and Nets basketball.
DIRECTV STREAM also carries MSG and SportsNet NY for watching Knicks and Mets games.
By upgrading to DIRECTV STREAM “Choice,” college football fans in NY can watch all Syracuse, PSU, and Rutgers games.
If DVR is a priority, DIRECTV STREAM has recently rolled out unlimited DVR for all packages, however, some in the media have been critical of the fine print.
Hulu + Live TV – full local Giants coverage, Mets, UFC, and college sports
Yes, you can stream in-market NY Giants games, as well as national broadcasts, with Hulu + Live TV.
Although Hulu lacks YES Network and MSG, NY sports fans can stream the Mets on Sportsnet NY with Hulu + Live TV. One of the reasons I continue to use Hulu is the ability to watch UFC events directly on the app without the need to toggle to the ESPN app.
YouTube TV – full local Giants coverage, plus Mets, and college sports
YouTube TV is an option for in-market Giants fans as well. I’ve written several times on this site about how impressive YouTube TV is as a platform for watching sports, and NFL in particular.
The service carries the most important channels for watching NFL action, has a 4K package, and even a mobile feature for fantasy football fans.
The downside is you need a Google account to start using YouTube TV, and the service lacks the YES Network, and MSG.
NY Giants player to watch – #99
Defensive End Leonard Williams is the highest paid player on the Giants team, earning more than $30,000,000 in 2023. Williams was a high 4-star recruit in high school, and played his college ball at USC. I like to focus in on high salary cap players to see if they make the impact expected of them. Can Williams live up to the legacy of famous Giants lineman like Michael Strahan? Only time will tell.
