The Atlanta Braves are an MLB Team that plays in the NL East Division. The Braves are coming off of a World Series Championship and excitement for the team is at an all time high. The good news for Braves fans is that it is possible to watch the Braves live online without cable on a host of different devices, including Roku, Android, iPhone, Samsung Smart TVs, and Amazon products. Our top pick for live streaming the Braves is DIRECTV STREAM “Choice” since it is the only live TV streaming package that carries Bally Sports Southeast, the regional sports network that broadcasts much of the Brave’s regular season in Atlanta.

How to watch this week’s Braves game

Are you looking for the best way to watch a specific Braves game? We list all of the upcoming televised Atlanta Braves games, both regional and national, as well as the live TV streaming providers that carry them, in the easy to use table below.

This team does not have a televised game scheduled in the next two weeks.

The most important channels for Braves fans

Here are the channels you need from a live TV streaming provider to watch the Braves this season. Local games will be broadcast regionally on Bally Sports South and Southeast, whereas nationally televised Braves games will be on FS1, ESPN, FOX, TBS, or MLB Network. A handful of games may also appear on Apple TV+ and Peacock as part of an exclusive deal they’ve cut with MLB for 36 regular season games each season.

The best option for local Braves fans

DirecTV Stream

When the Braves are on national TV, almost all of the live TV streaming services will carry the game. However, for most of the regular season action, Bally Sports South and Southeast will be the regional sports networks (RSNs) that carry the bulk of Braves games. The Bally Sports RSNs are owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, and only one live TV streaming provider, DirecTV Stream, has reached terms with Sinclair on a carriage agreement to carry the Bally Sports RSNs. This means that DirecTV Stream can charge more for its “Choice” package, which is the subscription tier it requires to access its RSN library. As such, Braves fans will be paying over $1,000 per year to get Braves games online.

The good news is that DirecTV Stream is a “one stop shop” for all your sports streaming needs. Depending on where you’re located, Bally Sports Southeast will get you access to:

  • Atlanta Hawks basketball
  • Atlanta United FC
  • Charlotte Hornets basketball
  • Memphis Grizzlies basketball
  • Carolina Hurricanes hockey

It is also possible to live stream the NFL and the Atlanta Falcons on WAGA-TV, FOX in Atlanta on DirecTV Stream.

If you live outside of Atlanta

While it’s a bummer that only DirecTV Stream carries Bally Sports RSNs, the good news for Braves fans is that Bally Sports South and Southeast have large MLB viewing territories because Charlotte and Memphis don’t have MLB teams. This means that fans across the southeast will be able to watch the Braves regular season. However, if you live outside of the Bally Sports Southeast viewing territory, paying for an out-of-market package will be required. If you want to watch every Braves game, MLB.TV is the only option. If you are content getting the Braves on occasion, ESPN+ broadcasts one out-of-market MLB game every day during the regular season, and the Braves, as a team with a national following will appear more than their fair share in this game.

MLB.TV – every game

MLB.TV is the premium out-of-market option for MLB fans. With MLB.TV fans can circumvent the regional broadcast rules and watch any game they like, including Atlanta Braves games. If you want to follow just one team all summer, the rate drops to a one time annual fee of $109.99.

ESPN+ – games every so often

ESPN+ carries one out-of-market MLB game every day during the regular season. This isn’t a guarantee that the Braves will be on, but they will appear several times a season.

When the Braves are on national TV

When the Braves are on an exclusive national broadcast, Bally Sports Southeast will be blacked out. Here is how to watch the Braves when they don’t appear on the local RSN.
