Major sporting events we are watching on FS1

FS1 is an important channel for watching MLB, college football, and basketball, NASCAR, and soccer. It’s a must have channel for me as a diehard sports fan. Here are the major sporting events I am most looking forward to watching on FS1.

  1. NL Playoffs. Attention Mets, Cardinals, Dodgers, Reds, and Braves fans, FS1 is the TV home for the MLB NL playoffs, making it a must have sports channel in many MLB markets.
  2. College football. Our readers know that I am obsessed with college football, and for leagues that have a TV deal with FOX, FS1 is an important channel. Big 12, Big 10, PAC-12, and Mountain West games all air on FS1.
  3. College basketball. In addition to college football, FS1 also carries an extensive lineup of college basketball games.
  4. NASCAR. While we aren’t huge NASCAR fans at Streaming Stadium, the popular NASCAR Cup Series can be streamed in FS1.

Can I watch FS1 on DIRECTV STREAM?

DIRECTV STREAM carries FS1 in the base package.

You can watch NCAAF and the NL Playoffs on FS1 with a DIRECTV STREAM subscription.

Can I watch FS1 on fuboTV?

Yes, you can watch FS1 in the base package with fuboTV, and fuboTV also offers select FOX and NBC programming in 4K for supported devices.

Can I watch FS1 on Hulu + Live TV?

Yes, you can watch FS1 on Hulu + Live TV in the base package. If your interest in FS1 is driven by college football, Hulu’s ESPN+ bundle offers hard-to-find NCAAF games, which is a bonus for fans looking for non-conference matchups for SEC, ACC, and Big 12 Teams in particular.

Can I watch FS1 on Sling Blue?

Sling Blue is the cheapest way to live stream FS1, but be careful because Sling TV only carries FOX in select markets, and Sling Blue doesn’t offers ESPN. In order to gain access to ESPN, an upgrade to Sling Orange is required which makes the price of Sling comparable to some streaming services with more robust sports coverage.

Can I watch FS1 on YouTube TV?

Yes, YouTube TV carries FS1 in the base package, and with the 4K Plus add-on, users can stream select FOX programming in 4K, including college football.

How to watch FS1 on the FOX Sports app

Sports fans also have the option of signing in to the FOX Sports app with their pay TV login credentials to stream FS1 on the FOX Sports app. One of the advantages of watching FS1 and other live sports on the FOX Sports.com site is the availability of 4K streaming for major events like the MLB Playoffs.

In the screenshot below, I share my login process accessing the FOX Sports app with my Hulu + Live TV subscription. Simply follow the prompts to access FS1 programming on the FOX Sports app, or on FOXSports.com.

What does FS1 stand for?

As a channel owned by FOX, FS1 stands for “FOX Sports 1.” Just as ESPN moves overflow programming to ESPN2, FOX uses FS1 and FS2 to stream live sports and programming that can’t “fit” on FOX.
