The Buckeyes are BACK! Here is how to watch the Ohio State vs. Georgia game in the Peach Bowl on New Year’s Eve live without cable on ESPN. The games kicks off at 8 PM EST, and our top pick is fuboTV (7 day free trial).
Buckeye fans can live stream Ohio State football games on most major streaming devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, iPhone, and more. With ABC, ESPN, FOX, FS1, and the Big Ten Network all included in the base package, our top pick for watching the Buckeyes this season is fuboTV.
fuboTV is easy and intuitive to setup, and will offer the TTUN game in 4K on supported devices. As an added bonus, with fuboTV’s “record my teams” feature Buckeye fans can record the entire season to DVR automatically with the click of a button.

How to watch this week’s Ohio State football game
Looking for a specific Buckeye football game? We list the 2022 Ohio State football TV schedule, as well as the live TV streaming providers that carry each game, in the easy to use table below.
The most important channels for Buckeye football fans
The Big Ten’s TV rights are held by ABC, ESPN, and FOX, which makes it easy to predict where Buckeye football games will air.
FS1 and Big Ten Network, as properties owned by FOX and the Big Ten respectively, will feature less sought after Big Ten matchups while FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff airs the week’s premier Big Ten game.
Important Big Ten matchups will also air on ABC and ESPN, and FOX has the TV rights to broadcast the Big Ten Championship game. Since 2014, Ohio State has been the Big Ten East’s representative in the Big Ten Championship game 5 times, and many expect Ryan Day and company to be playing in the Big Ten Championship Game again this year.
Can I watch Ohio State football on fuboTV?
fuboTV is my top pick for watching Big Ten Football without cable, and so it will probably come as no surprise that I love the platform for Buckeyes fans as well. First, fuboTV is fast and easy to setup, so if you’re rushing to get a streaming service in place right before kickoff, fuboTV is a solid choice.
Not only does fuboTV carry all the channels you need to live stream the Buckeyes, including Big Ten Network in the base package, the service allows fans to automatically record a team’s entire season to DVR rather than having to go game by game.
One of our biggest concerns with the streaming industry is rising costs. fuboTV shows respect for its customers wallets by allowing fans who only sign up for football to pause their subscription while NCAAF and the NFL is in the off-season. I have used this feature and it is transparent and easy. fuboTV comes with 1,000 hours of DVR storage and users can cancel at anytime, there are no long term contracts required to sign-up.

Can I watch Ohio State football on Hulu + Live TV?
While we prefer the user experience of fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV carries all the channels you need to live stream Buckeye football for the 2022 season. Hulu offers the Big Ten Network in its base package, and with the ESPN+ bundle sports fans can live stream UFC events as well as out-of-market NHL, and MLB.

Can I watch Ohio State football on DIRECTV STREAM?
If you’re just looking for the best way to stream Buckeye football, DirecTV Stream is not my top pick. Yes, DirecTV Stream gets you all the channels you need to watch Big Ten Football, but unfortunately, they only offer Big Ten Network in their premium “Choice” package. fuboTV offers better value for money and a better user experience over DIRECTV STREAM. So, if watching OSU every Saturday is the goal move, we recommend fuboTV.
However, if you’re an Ohio sports fan and want to watch the Columbus Blue Jackets, Reds baseball, Cleveland baseball, or the Cavs, then DirecTV Stream “Choice” is a good pick because it is the only live TV streaming service that carries Bally Sports Ohio and Bally Sports Great Lakes, the regional sports networks that broadcast these teams to local fans.

Can I watch Ohio State football on YouTube TV?
Although a Google account is required to sign up, it’s hard not to love YouTube TV for watching football. The platform carries all the channels you need to live stream Buckeye football, but YouTube TV sets itself apart with innovation. Stats View and Key Plays are my favorite features I’ve seen on any sports streaming app, and for NFL Fantasy Football fans, YouTube TV’s mobile app integrates in real time with NFL.com fantasy leagues.

Watching Ohio State football FAQ
No, you can’t watch Ohio State football games on ESPN+. ESPN+ only carries smaller college football matchups that major media players don’t have interest in. Ohio State’s lowest tier matchups will air on Big Ten Network, not ESPN+. It’s also important to note that Ohio State’s ESPN games won’t be simulcast on ESPN+.
Unlike the NFL which features a slate of predominantly regional broadcasts each week, almost every Ohio State football game is nationally televised. In NYC, OSU football games will air on WNYW FOX 5 NY and on WABC-TV ABC 7 NY. Other possible channels for Buckeye games are Big Ten Network, FS1, and ESPN, all nationally broadcast channels coast to coast.
It depends on the market and what channel OSU is on. Sling TV doesn’t carry ABC or CBS without an air antenna, and only offers FOX and NBC in select markets. However, this is less of an issue since every NCAAF game that airs on ABC will be simulcast on ESPN3, and you can watch ESPN3 with Sling TV. Buckeye fans in Columbus can’t watch WTTE FOX 28 Columbus without the extra step of buying and installing an air antenna.
Yes, every major live TV streaming service’s app is compatible with Roku devices, including YouTube TV, DIRECTV STREAM, fuboTV, and Hulu.
