Important channels
During the regular season, most Suns games are broadcast by Bally Sports Arizona, the same regional sports network (RSN) that carries Diamondbacks and Coyotes games.
During the NBA playoffs, things change to national broadcasts and the only channels you need to watch the Suns are ABC, ESPN, and TNT.

From Phoenix
Sling TV is a good option for watching the Suns if:
- You live out-of-market (you can add NBA League Pass to a Sling TV account)
- You want to watch the Sun’s playoff run
If you live in-market and want to watch the Suns, Sling TV isn’t a good option as the platform doesn’t carry all of the local channels you need to watch the Suns.
Sling TV Orange gets you: ESPN and TNT, as well as ESPN 3.
ESPN 3 is important because Suns fans can use their Sling TV login to access ESPN 3 on the ESPN app to simulcast ABC’s coverage of the NBA Finals. By using this streaming workaround, you can save more than $30 per month vs. competitors. It is also possible to get an air antenna to stream local channels on Sling.
A note on the Arizona Cardinals:
Sling TV carries FOX 10 KSAZ-TV in the Phoenix market, which means Arizona Cardinals fans can stream local NFL with Sling TV, but an upgrade to Sling Orange & Blue will be required because Sling Orange does not offer FOX.

DirecTV Stream is a great choice here for Suns fans because the service carries all of the channels Suns fans need to watch every game in the base package.
Note: DirecTV Stream and DirecTV Stream “Choice” both carry the channels you need to stream the NBA playoffs, so to save money, it might be a good idea to stream the playoffs using the base DirecTV Stream plan and then upgrade to DirecTV Stream “Choice” when the NBA regular season starts back again. Of course, this option won’t work if you plan to watch the Diamondbacks this season.
You can watch FOX 10 KSAZ-TV, the local FOX affiliate in Phoenix, on DIRECTV STREAM.
Thanks to Mat Ishbia, Hulu is now a regular season option for Suns fans, and you can stream the Cardinals, and other NFL games, on FOX 10 KSAZ-TV, the local FOX affiliate in Phoenix with a Hulu + Live TV account.
Hulu + Live TV carries ABC, ESPN, and TNT, all the channels you need to watch the Suns playoff run.

You can watch the Suns in-market with a YouTube TV account because the platform carries all of the necessary local affiliates. Out-of-market Suns fans can watch the team by adding an NBA League Pass subscription to their existing YouTube TV account.
YouTube TV carries the channels you need to watch the Phoenix Suns in the playoffs, and is your best bet for watching games in 4K.

Yes, you can watch the Suns on fuboTV. fuboTV is one of our favorite sports streaming platforms.
You can also add an NBA League Pass subscription to a fuboTV account, which makes the platform a good solution for out-of-market Suns fans who want to watch the bulk of the regular season.
Now that the Suns have ditched their contract with Bally Sports, Suns games will not air on Bally Sports Arizona, and will instead be carried by local affiliates in Phoenix. There is no reason for sports fans in Phoenix to sign up for Bally Sports AZ or Bally Sports Plus.
You cannot watch nationally televised Suns games, most playoff games, or out-of-market broadcasts on Bally Sports Plus.
FAQ
Do you live in NYC, LA, Cleveland or Miami, and want to watch the Suns live stream? NBA League Pass is your best option. You can signup for NBA League Pass à la carte on Amazon Prime, or the package can be added to an existing YouTube TV, Sling TV, fuboTV, or DIRECTV STREAM account. Suns fans take note: if you live in Phoenix, NBA League Pass will be blacked out in favor of Bally Sports Arizona’s TV rights.
Suns owner Mat Ishbia decided to end the team’s contract with Bally Sports AZ and broadcast games on local affiliates instead. Bally Sports Arizona will no longer air opening round playoff games for in-market Suns fans, and has lost all rights to the regular season. Under the current NBA TV deal, ABC, ESPN, and TNT have exclusive rights to broadcast the NBA playoffs, which means Bally Sports AZ has been completely shut out of the NBA TV lineup.
