If you live in South Florida, you can watch most Marlins regular season games on Bally Sports Florida with Bally Sports+, fuboTV, or DIRECTV STREAM “Choice.” Out-of-market, the best choice is adding MLB.TV.

Important channels

For most of the Marlins regular season action, Bally Sports Florida will be the regional sports networks (RSNs) that carries the bulk of games. The Bally Sports RSNs are owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, and for 2023, three live TV streaming providers, Bally Sports+, fuboTV, and DIRECTV STREAM, carry the Bally Sports RSNs. With fuboTV and DTV STREAM, Marlins fans will be paying over $1,000 per year to watch Miami games online. Although Bally Sports+ offers more limited coverage, it’s a major savings over fuboTV and DTV STREAM.

In addition, when the Marlins are featured on national TV, ESPN, FS1, TBS, FOX, and MLB Network will all be important channels to make sure a live TV streaming provider carries. We did the work for you with the table below which lays out each live TV streaming provider and which MLB channels they carry.

LoanDepot Park, the Marlins stadium, has Latin inspired burgers at section 19 all season long, so you might want to head to the game for the food alone.

From the 305

At present, DirecTV Stream is the only live TV streaming provider that carries Bally Sports Florida, and its sister station Bally Sports Sun. In addition to Marlins games, and depending on where in Florida you are soaking up the sun, Bally Sports Florida gets Miami sports fans access to:

While it isn’t possible to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Miami Dolphins on Bally Sports Florida, you can watch NFL action on DirecTV Stream, so even though the “Choice” package is pricey, it offers a comprehensive sports streaming solution.

fuboTV has added Bally Sports Florida and Sun which means MLB fans in South Florida can watch the Marlins with fuboTV this season.

Outside of Florida

Bally Sports Florida and Sun are regional channels only. Once you get outside of Florida, the Braves will be your team for much of the southeast.

If you are out-of-market for Marlins games, MLB.TV is the only option to live stream every game.

MLB.TV is the premium out-of-market option for MLB fans. With MLB.TV fans can circumvent the regional broadcast rules and watch any game they like, including Miami Marlins games. If you want to follow just one team all summer, the rate drops to a one time annual fee of $109.99.

ESPN+ – watch games every so often

ESPN+ carries one out-of-market MLB game every day during the regular season. This isn’t a guarantee that the Marlins will be on, but they will appear several times a season.

Read our ESPN+ review.

How to watch the Marlins on national TV

When the Marlins are on a national broadcast, Bally Sports Florida will be blacked out. Here is how to watch every national TV MLB game so you don’t miss a single pitch.
