In-market Jags fans can watch most games on any live TV streaming service that carries CBS and FOX, a list which includes Hulu, YouTube TV, DIRECTV STREAM, and fuboTV. Our top pick for local Jaguars fans, and out-of-market Jags fans, is DIRECTV STREAM.

DIRECTV STREAM carries WJAX-TV CBS 47 Jacksonville, FOX, ESPN, NBC, and offers an upgrade to watch Bally Sports Florida for watching teams like the Tampa Bay Rays, Lightning, and Miami Heat.

Paramount+ is a good choice for watching Jags games that air on CBS at a good price.

Important channels

Our research team has identified the following channels as the most important for watching the NFL, including Jaguars games: ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX, and NBC. CBS will be the TV partner for most regular season Jaguars games.

Note: Sling TV carries FOX and NBC, but only in select markets.

Except for nationally televised regular season games, and NFL playoff games, most NFL games are televised regionally. Jaguars fans who live in the Jacksonville TV market will get regular season action on their local CBS, and to a lesser extent FOX, affiliates. If you don’t live in Jacksonville, NFL Sunday Ticket will be your best bet for watching entire Jaguars games. We will get to out-of-market options at the end of this piece. The options that follow are for in-market Jaguars fans in northern Florida and the sections of southern Georgia that get Jacksonville stations.

Top picks

As a Fubo TV subscriber, one of my favorite features is the setup process, which is fast and clean. Users can immediately create a curated list of channels, or follow a specific team. If you are looking to get setup with a live TV streaming provider in an expedited fashion, Fubo TV is an excellent option, and the platform supports most major devices. Fubo carries CBS, ESPN, FOX, and NBC, and offers some programming in 4K.

Fubo also offers a “keep up with your favorite teams” feature that sends push notifications for game start times. This feature, which is easy to setup upon signing up, is very useful when you are a busy parent like I am.

While we love Fubo TV for NFL fans, an annual subscription will cost $779.88, and that is before any add-ons. Budget conscious Jaguar fans can get access to the majority of regular season games through Paramount+’s NFL on CBS service and save over $700 per year doing so.

There will be gaps in coverage as Paramount+ doesn’t carry FOX, ESPN, or NBC, but the streaming service will offer a workable solution for many Jaguars fans.

DirecTV Stream carries all the channels Jaguars fans need to stream games without cable.

Hulu + Live TV, as a service that carries CBS, ESPN, FOX, and NBC, is another viable option for Jaguars fans.

Since Jacksonville doesn’t have an NHL team, as an added bonus, hockey fans there can take full advantage of the extensive out-of-market NHL coverage Hulu users gain access to when they sign up for the Hulu / ESPN+ / Disney+ bundle.

YouTube TV carries the channels you’ll need to stream Jaguars games, and often has a generous free trial. The platform offers unlimited DVR and has built innovative features like Stats View and Key Plays, which are excellent for watching football and supplant the need to check in on legacy features like ESPN Gamecast. If you don’t already have a Google account, you will be required to sign up for one, which will be a turn off for some potential subscribers.

Out-of-market

If you are a Jaguars fan living outside of the relatively small Jacksonville TV market, you are considered an out-of-market fan and your best bet is an NFL Sunday Ticket package, which allows access to regional broadcasts all across the country.

To watch the Jaguars out-of-market, add NFL Sunday Ticket to YouTube TV.

The thing to know about Sunday Ticket is the service gets you out-of-market NFL action, and when there is a blackout, its because the game is on your local CBS or FOX affiliate, or on national TV.
