There are several options for live streaming Vanderbilt football without cable, including YouTube TV, Hulu, Fubo, and DIRECTV STREAM. However, because most Vanderbilt games air on SEC Network, Sling TV Orange + Sports Extra, with its combination of the ESPN family of channels and SECN, offers the best value for money for Vandy fans.

Top picks

Vanderbilt, as a team that has struggled in SEC play the last several seasons, is unlikely to be featured on the SEC Game of the Week. This makes CBS less important for streaming college football, although many fans in Tennessee will want access to CBS to watch the Titans.

As such, we recommend the fuboTV package that carries SEC Network, called “Sports Lite.” ESPN2 and SEC Network will feature most of the SEC football matchups without national championship implications, so until their breakout season, Commodores fans will want these channels handy.

DIRECTV STREAM’s “Choice” package carries all the channels you need to live stream Vandy football, but it’s pricey. However, despite the monthly cost, some fans will find value with DIRECTV STREAM simply because it is the only live TV streaming service that carries Bally Sports Southeast and Bally Sports South, the regional sports networks that broadcast regular season games to local fans for teams such as the Atlanta Braves and Memphis Grizzlies.

Hulu + Live TV carries all the channels you need to live stream Vanderbilt football and Tennessee Titans games. Although we don’t like the platform as much as fuboTV, Hulu does carry the SEC Network in the base package.

YouTube TV is another excellent option for Vanderbilt football fans. Although a Google account is required to signup, the platform offers a 4K upgrade, and carries the SEC Network in the base package, plus ESPN for Monday Night Football.

Paramount+ offers a lot of value for money for SEC football fans and NFL fans, but of all the channels Vanderbilt fans need to live stream the Commodores, only CBS is available.

Because of the fact that the Commodores are unlikely to be featured in the SEC Game of the Week on CBS, Sling Orange + Sports Extra is a solid budget option if watching Vandy football is your main goal. You can’t get CBS on Sling without an air antenna, but ESPN, ESPN2, and the SEC Network are all available, and at a good price.

However, if you want to watch the NFL this season, Sling Orange is not a good option.
