Most important TV channels for NIU football fans
Based on current TV contracts with CBS Sports Network and ESPN, most MAC games, including Northern Illinois games, will air on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN+, and CBS Sports Network. Early in the season, when Northern Illinois faces an ACC, SEC, Big 10, or PAC-12 opponent, the game will often appear on that conference’s network, such as Big 10 Network or ACC Network. Watching NIU football: our top picks
Hulu + Live TV is the only live TV streaming service that offers all of the Northern Illinois football games from one app. As an added bonus, you get NBC Sports Chicago in the base package with a Hulu subscription. The downside is that Hulu offers only 50 hours of DVR storage in the base package, which won’t be enough for many households. Cubs fans can’t get Marquee Sports Network on Hulu.
Hulu is the better choice for watching NIU football, unless you’re also a Cubs fan and want to stream in-market games.
