The Seattle Kraken are an NHL team that plays in the Western Conference. If you can’t make it to the Climate Pledge Arena to watch the Kraken in person, you can live stream Kraken games on most major streaming devices, including laptops, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, iPhone, Android, Apple TV, and more.

If you live in the Pacific Northwest, you can watch the Kraken on Root Sports Northwest with both fuboTV and DIRECTV STREAM “Choice.” However, as the only app that carries ABC, ESPN, TNT, and Root Sports Northwest in the same package, our top pick for watching the Kraken this season is DIRECTV STREAM “Choice.”

How to watch tonight’s Kraken game

In the easy to use table below, we list the Kraken TV schedule, as well as the live TV streaming services that carry each game.

The most important channels for Kraken fans

For Kraken fans in the Pacific Northwest, the majority of Kraken games will be carried on Root Sports Northwest. When the Kraken are featured in a national game, ABC, ESPN, ESPN+, TNT, or the NHL Network will have the rights. ESPN+ carries 75 streaming exclusive NHL games that can only be viewed on the ESPN app, and NHL Network broadcasts 75 out-of-market NHL games each season.

How to watch the Kraken on DIRECTV STREAM

In order to watch the Kraken on Root Sports Northwest with DIRECTV STREAM, an upgrade to the “Choice” plan is required.

However, we still recommend this option as our top pick, despite fuboTV offering Root Sports in its base package, because fuboTV lacks TNT, and TNT is now a major player in NHL broadcasting under the newest NHL TV deal.

The only way to get Root Sports packaged with ABC, ESPN, and TNT is with DIRECTV STREAM “Choice.”

DIRECTV STREAM also carries KCPQ FOX 13 Seattle for watching the Seahawks on Sundays.

How to watch the Kraken on fuboTV

You can watch most Kraken regular season games in-market on fuboTV.

fuboTV also offers NHL Network in its upgraded “Elite” plan. However, notably for NHL fans, fuboTV is missing TNT, which puts a gaping hole in its national hockey coverage.

On the bright side, fuboTV does carry KCPQ FOX 13 Seattle for live streaming the Seahawks.

How to watch the Kraken out-of-market

If you live outside of the Roots Sports Northwest viewing territory, say in southern California, the Kraken won’t usually be on TV. Instead your local NHL will be LA Kings games on Bally Sports West.

This makes you an out-of-market Kraken fan, but you can still live stream most Kraken regular season games with ESPN+.

ESPN Plus carries over 1,000 out-of-market regular season NHL games, as well as 75 streaming exclusive games, each season. Hockey fans can choose the home or away commentary for each out-of-market regular season NHL game carried by ESPN+.
