Why we’re watching UFC on ESPN 36
The main reason I am tuning into this fight card is for the Main Event. I have followed Jan Blachowicz’s career for the last few years and have been impressed by his development as a fighter, but also by his commitment to family. Getting to know Jan’s story through UFC Embedded, fans see a dedicated father, and he is the only fighter on the UFC roster to have defeated Israel Adesanya.
His loss to Glover Teixeira last October seemed more like a bad night than a mismatch. And as much as we love the fan favorite Teixeira, look for Jiri Prochazka to make short work of him at UFC 275. This will leave open the possibility of a return to glory for Blachowicz. The other night I re-watched Jan’s win over Dominick Reyes from Fight Island and was reminded of how powerful his striking can be. Yes, Racik is an up and comer, but we are tuning in hoping to see Jan reclaim Championship form with his legendary “Polish Power.”
Think twice before gambling on UFC on ESPN 36
The UFC promotes its gambling affiliations pretty heavily as part of the broadcasts. There is nothing wrong with having fun and betting on sports for entertainment, but keep in mind that there is no “value” in any betting odds, Vegas always wins in the end. If you have a gambling problem, please visit the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
The best options for watching UFC on ESPN 36
ESPN+ is the home of the UFC for both Fight Nights and PPV.
UFC on ESPN 36 can be viewed on ESPN+ with the subscription fee, but PPV events are an extra $74.99 per event.
The ESPN+ content library lives on the ESPN app. Fight fans can stream the UFC from most Smart TVs, Roku devices, mobile phones, and Amazon Fire TV.
Hulu + Live TV comes with only 50 hours of DVR storage in the base package, but is an excellent option for live streaming NFL, college football, and UFC Events due to the platform’s ESPN+ bundle, which comes with the $69.99 monthly fee. The ESPN+ lineup is integrated seamlessly with the Hulu interface so fans can stream the fights from either ESPN+ or the Hulu app.
Our top pick for watching the NFL, and college football, fuboTV will carry the UFC on ESPN 36 fight lineup on ESPN 2, but isn’t a great option for most UFC Events.
