Watching Big Ten basketball will be confusing for some fans this season after the channel lineups have been switched around to reflect a slate of new TV contracts in college sports.

The new contract establishes which TV stations will air basketball games through 2030. The deal is estimated to be worth $7 billion. The deal gives FOX, CBS, and NBC rights to air Big Ten games. ESPN will no longer will carry basketball or football games for teams like Ohio State and Michigan (with the CFP being a notable exception).
The Big Ten Tournament will air on Big Ten Network and the FOX Sports app in the early rounds, and CBS and Paramount+ on the final weekend which precedes March Madness. DIRECTV STREAM “Choice,” Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV all offer full coverage of the Big Ten basketball season from the early tip-offs, through the Big Ten Tournament.
